  And what made this event worth doing?  A ten year old boy watched and listed, standing quietly behind the crowd. When the others drifted away I cautiously opened the conversation, afraid that he was too shy to chat. When he relaxed, he asked very intelligent questions about my work, and shared his own interests. Too bad that the gallery sponsoring us had sold his favorite piece, but he'll be back!
