Monumental Ideas in Miniature Books is curated and organized by artist and innovative Myers School of Art professor Hui-Chi Ying along with international coordinator Alicia Candiani.
Books were not to exceed 4"x5"x1" and the minimum edition was 6. If chosen for the exhibit, 5 editions travel seperately around the globe for 2 years under the auspices of the University of Akron; each edition becomes part of a permanent collection.

This hand-sewn, limited edition of An Utterbet of Alpharences © on 100% rag bond is a collaboration by the Mom & Pop team of Nicholas D. & Leslie Edwards Humez, and contains ryhmed couplets and simple pen & ink cartoons.

This is my previous MIMB 2 book, PINK, which began as a quick glance at a dictionary which led to a list of definitions and historical references— (some archaic) that included pink, and eventually blossomed into a series of ryhmed couplets on pretty papers in an unconventional and intentionally feminine triangular format. The idea swept me away and the temptation was just too great to resist.
